Upon joining Pluto, it was clear that the company needed a fresh rebrand and have an aesthetic that reflected their progressive and creative work ethic.

Myself and the Creative Director were appointed to manage this rebrand from start to finish.

It all started with the logo, which proved at first to be quite tricky as the Managing Directors didn't want any shapes of a planet or Pluto the dog.
​
However with a name such as Pluto, it is almost impossible to escape the fact that it's named after a planet. Something finally clicked with myself as I discovered the astrological symbol for Pluto - the PL shape, which was a monogram and also the initials of the man who discovered the planet.

From here we developed what is the new logo today.
